RelilQ Legal
Terms of Service
Effective date: 20 September 2026
Last updated: 20 September 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of RelilQ, a B2B workforce reliability and workforce management software service operated at www.relilq.com.
By creating a RelilQ workspace, inviting users, or using the service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of the customer organisation you represent.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
You must be authorised to bind the customer organisation. RelilQ is intended for lawful business use. You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
2. Accounts, authority, and authorised users
The customer controls who is invited as owner, manager, supervisor, employee, or other roles RelilQ supports. The customer is responsible for branch scoping, permissions, and promptly removing access when someone leaves.
3. Customer data, employees, and applicants
As between RelilQ and the customer, the customer retains ownership of customer content uploaded or generated in the workspace (employee records, attendance, applicants, documents, and similar). RelilQ processes that content to provide the service under these Terms and the Privacy Policy / Data Processing Addendum.
The customer is responsible for the lawfulness of employee and applicant data it places in RelilQ, including notices, permissions, and employment-law compliance.
4. RelilQ is not the employer
RelilQ is a technology platform. Using RelilQ does not make RelilQ the employer of the customer’s workers. The customer remains responsible for hiring, firing, discipline, payroll decisions, workplace compliance, required employee notices/permissions, and evaluating RelilQ workforce insights appropriately.
RelilQ scores and risk indicators are decision-support tools. They are not guarantees that a person will resign, be absent, perform poorly, or commit misconduct, and they must not be treated as automatic employment decisions.
5. Acceptable use
You must use RelilQ in line with the Acceptable Use Policy, including prohibitions on unlawful processing, discriminatory misuse of scores, fraudulent attendance manipulation, and unauthorised biometric enrolment.
6. Subscriptions, billing, and payments
RelilQ offers subscription plans with feature entitlements (for example employee limits and optional capabilities). Fees, renewals, and plan changes are handled through RelilQ billing flows and our payment processor (Paystack). Full card details are processed by the payment provider.
Failed payments may lead to restricted write access or suspension according to RelilQ billing rules.
[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] Publish explicit refund policy (if any), notice periods for cancellation, and tax treatment for Nigerian customers with finance counsel. RelilQ code does not currently define a refund workflow.
7. Service availability and maintenance
We aim to keep RelilQ available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency changes. Features that depend on third parties may be affected by those providers.
8. Integrations and third-party services
RelilQ may integrate with Google, payment providers, email providers, identity verification providers, vacancy channels, AI providers, and push infrastructure. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms. Connecting a Gmail recruitment inbox authorises RelilQ to access mailbox content only as described in the Privacy Policy and in-product notices.
9. Face Match and biometric verification
If the customer enables Face Match, the customer must ensure it has authority and any required notices/permissions before enrolling staff. Face Match is 1:1 photo comparison for identity verification and does not currently include liveness detection. See the Biometric Notice.
10. Intellectual property and feedback
RelilQ and its software, branding, and documentation remain RelilQ’s intellectual property. Customers receive a limited right to use the service during an active subscription. Feedback you provide may be used to improve RelilQ without obligation to you.
11. Confidentiality
Each party should protect the other’s non-public information with reasonable care and use it only for performing under these Terms, except where disclosure is required by law.
12. Disclaimers
RelilQ is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated, including that workforce indicators will be error-free or that the service will meet every operational need.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RelilQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for employment decisions made by the customer.
[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] Confirm liability cap (for example fees paid in the prior 12 months) and any non-excludable Nigerian statutory rights with counsel.
14. Customer indemnification
The customer will defend and indemnify RelilQ against claims arising from the customer’s misuse of RelilQ, unlawful processing of employee/applicant data, employment decisions, or violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, except to the extent caused by RelilQ’s wilful misconduct.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, or material breach. Customers may stop using RelilQ and may close a business workspace subject to product controls. Soft-close retains records as described in the Privacy Policy. Data export tools available in-product should be used before closure where the customer needs copies.
16. Changes
We may update RelilQ and these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms when permitted by law. The Last updated date will change when Terms are revised.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law rules that would apply another jurisdiction’s laws.
[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] Confirm preferred dispute forum (for example Lagos State courts or arbitration) and consumer/SME mandatory protections.
18. Notices and contact
Notices to RelilQ may be sent to support@relilq.com. Notices to the customer may be sent to the owner email on the workspace or through the product.
